Med/Surg Inpatient Unit Open to Visitors

We are pleased to report in partnership with the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit (SMDHU), the Enhanced Surveillance period for COVID-19 on the Med/Surg Unit has been completed as there has been no further transmission.
Visitation will open immediately to patients on the Unit, however there will be some guidelines that are required to be followed for safety purposes:
- No more than one visitor will be permitted at a time in a patient’s room.
- Masks are required to be worn by visitors at all times in a patient’s room and throughout the hospital.
- Eating and drinking is not permitted by visitors in a patient’s room.
