Less than an hour from Toronto, New Tecumseth is ideally situated between the excitement of the city and the beautiful relaxation of cottage country. Opportunities are available in Beeton, Tottenham and Alliston, where Stevenson Memorial Hospital is located. Community visits are encouraged so physicians can see and experience all the area has to offer. The Physician Recruitment and Retention Committee (PRRC) is actively involved in providing site visits for physicians and their partners/spouses. In addition, the PRRC provides some relocation assistance for physicians who open an office or move their home into the area.
