The Dialysis Unit at Stevenson has been inservice for 16 years, providing treatment to outpatients on a continuous basis. Stevenson has a six-station satellite dialysis unit with more than 20 patients.

The dialysis unit staff is made up of a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals and high technology equipment. The staff works collectively to make certain that patients receive the best care possible. It is generously supported by the community through the Nottawasaga Foundation. Stevenson’s Dialysis Unit is also a Satellite Centre of the Regional Program at Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital in Orillia.

There were 3,819 visits for 2005 and 2006.

Stevenson’s Dialysis Program works very closely with the transplant team at University Health Network (UHN) in Toronto to support our patients.
