Outpatient Clinics
The Outpatient Clinics provides care closer to home through a wide range of services and clinics available to the community. These services provide compressive care to patients with chronic diseases. The clinics provide access to a variety of specialist services and educational services, offering a multidisciplinary approach to care. These clinics include: Specialist Clinics · Cardiology · Chronic Kidney Clinic · Ears, Nose and Throat (ENT) · Endocrinology Clinic · Gastroenterology · Internal Medicine · Medical Follow-up clinic · Minor Surgery (Lumps and Bumps Clinic) · Pre-Admission clinic (pre-operation) · Orthopaedic · Ophthalmology · Paediatric · Prenatal Clinic · Well Women’s Clinic · Nurse Practitioner Orphaned Patient Clinic · Thoracic Clinic Testing · Echocardiogram · Pulmonary Function Testing · Therapeutic Phlebotomy Clinic · 24 hour Blood Pressure Monitor · Stress Testing Education · Cardiac Rehabilitation Program · Chronic Disease Self Management · Diabetic Education Clinic OTN ( OTN provides patients with access to medical specialists and education that is located at other medical centres at Stevenson. The OTN network allows our staff to tap into educational sessions for patients and staff that are not being held at Stevenson. This also allows for visits and consultations between specialists and patients to reduce travel time and increase access to specialists. · Chronic Kidney Care Clinic General Education Day – Provided by · Osteoporosis Education Day – Provided by Southlake Regional Health Care Corporation · Distance Clinical Visits (available in future) · Arthritis program (available in the future) As there are increasing numbers of medical conditions that do not require hospital admission, these clinics allow medical conditions to be managed without direct admission to the hospital. The clinics remain very busy; however, opportunities for new clinics are being explored. As such, Stevenson is starting an outpatient services endeavor to provide specialist care within the community through linking chronic diseases with the care needed.
