The Outpatient Clinics provides care closer to home through a wide range of services and clinics available to the community. These services provide compressive care to patients with chronic diseases.

OTN (Ontario Telemedicine Network)

OTN provides patients with access to medical specialists and education that is located at other medical centres at Stevenson.  The OTN network allows our staff to tap into educational sessions for patients and staff that are not being held at Stevenson.  This also allows for visits and consultations between specialists and patients to reduce travel time and increase access to specialists.

·         Osteoporosis Education Day – Provided by Southlake Regional Health Care Corporation

·         Distance Clinical Visits (available in future)

·         Arthritis program (available in the future)

 As there are increasing numbers of medical conditions that do not require hospital admission, these clinics allow medical conditions to be managed without direct admission to the hospital. The clinics remain very busy; however, opportunities for new clinics are being explored. As such, Stevenson is starting an outpatient services endeavor to provide specialist care within the community through linking chronic diseases with the care needed.

Central Community Care Access Centre (CCAC)
